The new sensor E2B of omron
Cylindrical-body inductive proximity sensors in the new E2B range have been specifically developed to offer a cost-effective sensing solution in standard industrial conditions, making it unnecessary to pay more for sensors that provide features that are not needed. E2B sensors are manufactured using our innovative “hot-melt” production process, which allows them to offer exceptional value for money with no compromise in quality, performance or reliability. Harsh environment resistant Well suited for use in, for example, packaging machine, machine tool, materials handling and many process control applications, E2B sensors feature IP67 ingress protection, an operating temperature range of -20 ºC to +70 ºC, and vibration and shock resistance in line with IEC 60947-5-2 (10 to 55 Hz). Multiple varieties To ensure that exactly the right sensor is available to meet every requirement, the E2B range offers a choice of M8, M12, M18 and M30 sensors, in shielded and non-shielded versions, with short and long bodies. Users can also choose between plug-in connectors or pre-wired connections, and between four different output types. Easy for check-up All models are provided with an all-round visible indicator light that makes it easy to see the status of the sensor at a glance from any direction, and all feature indelible laser-printed part numbers that make them easy to identify positively during maintenance. Complete cylindrical sensing family New E2B cylindrical body proximity sensors complement our existing family of sensing products. This includes sensors – such as those in the E2A range, which offers IP69K ingress protection and can be used down to -40 ºC – that are suitable for use not only in standard industrial conditions, but also in the most demanding environments.
